AN842 (REV. 11) (NOTICE 1)., MILITARY STANDARD: ELBOW - PIPE TO HOSE, 90 DEG (20 JUL 2000)., AN842 REV 11, dated 2 September 1982, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5185, "Fitting, Elbow, 90°, Pipe to Hose." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN842 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5185 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "MS" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
