AN841 (REV. 5) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE/NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: ADAPTER - HOSE TO FLARED TUBE (28 SEP 1999)., AN841 REV 5, dated 19 April 1982, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5184, "Fitting, Adapter, Flared to Hose." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN841 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5184 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
