AN833 (REV. 8) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE - NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: ELBOW - FLARED TUBE AND BULKHEAD UNIVERSAL, 90 DEGREE (22-APR-1999) [S/S BY SAE-AS1038]., AN833 REV 8, dated 4 August 1983, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS1038, "Elbow, 90 DEGREE, Standard and Reducer, Bulkhead, Flared Tube." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN833 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS1038 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
