AN832 (REV. 8) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE/NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: UNION, FLARED TUBE, 3/8 BULKHEAD AND UNIVERSAL (01 FEB 2000) [S/S BY SAE-AS5406]., AN832 REV 8, dated 2 August 1983, is hereby canceled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5406, "Fitting, Union, Tube, .375 Bulkhead." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN832 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5406 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
