AN817 (REV. 12) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE-NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: NUT, TUBE COUPLING, LONG (31 JUL 2002) [S/S BY SAE-AS5206]., AN817, dated 31 March 1987, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to SAE Standard AS5206, "Nut, Flared Long." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN817 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5206 PINs. The use of “AS” Parts is preferable, but “AN” parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
