AN814 (REV. 14) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE-NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: PLUG AND BLEEDER - SCREW THREAD (28 SEP 1999)., AN814 REV 14, dated 17 May 1984, is hereby canceled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5169, "Fitting, Port Plug and Bleeder." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN814 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5169 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
