LPR 1710.16, LANGLEY PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS: AVIATION OPERATIONS AND SAFETY MANUAL (30 NOV 2009)., This document sets forth general guidelines and instructions for the management and operation of aircraft assigned to the NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) and for overall aviation safety assurance for airborne and airframe systems research flying conducted or sponsored by LaRC. This document is based upon requirements established by NPR 7900.3A, Aircraft Operations Management, which prescribes guidelines for the operation of all NASA aircraft, and NPD 7900.4, NASA Aircraft Operations Management, which establishes policy for the use of all non-NASA aircraft.
