KSC-STD-E-0012E, FACILITY GROUNDING AND LIGHTNING PROTECTION, STANDARD FOR (01-AUG-2001)., This standard establishes the minimum design requirements for grounding and lightning protection systems for NASA facilities at the John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and for Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS). This standard replaces and changes the title of KSC-STE-E-0012C, Bonding adn Grounding, and replaces KSC-STD-E-0013D, Facility Lightning protection Design. It is not the intent of this document to require that all existing facilities at KSC be modified to meet the requirements contained herein. It is intended that existing facilities be considered on an individual basis and modifications be made only when a significant improvement in the level of protection can be achieved.
