PRC-0009(REV.D), PROCESS SPECIFICATION FOR THE RESISTANCE SPOT WELDING OF BATTERY AND ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLIES (FEBRUARY 2004) This process specification provides the requirements that govern the Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) of battery tabs and component wires/leads to batteries, battery tabs, or other associated electronic components. Procedural and quality assurance requirements are given. All work instructions and Weld Procedure Specifications (WPSs) used during welding shall satisfy the requirements of this process specification and it’s applicable documents.
