Future acquisitions for these items should refer to Non-Government Standard, Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) IP- 7, 1990, Specifications for Rubber Welding Hose and Compressed Gas Association (CGA) E-1, Standard Connections for Regulator Outlets, Torches and Fitted Hose for Welding and Cutting Equipment. The preparing activity for this document has determined that RMA IP-7 and CGA E-1 are suitable replacements for specific applications. However, users should cautiously evaluate each document for their particular application before citing it as a replacement.
