AN937 (REV. 6) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE/NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: CROSS, TUBE, INTERNAL THREAD (29 SEP 2000) [S/S BY SAE-AS5193]., AN937 REV 6, dated 21 March 1979, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to SAE International Aerospace Standard AS5193, "Fitting, Cross, Internal Straight Thread Port." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN937 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5193 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
